Factoid of the day: The novel version by Philip K. Dick is called ‘Do Androids Dream of Electric Sheep?’
I know this because I wrote an essay in highschool comparing Blade Runner to 2001: A Space Odyssey. The essay didn’t do so well but there’s no denying that I continue to be influenced by the films as they both have very impressive, distinctive aesthetics. I can’t wait to stumble across an editorial that references 2001.
